This raffle is open to legal residents of all 50 United States who are 18 years of age or older at the time of entry. Raffle is subject to all applicable federal, state, and local laws. A minimum of 2,500 tickets must be sold by January 1, 2026; if this threshold is not met, the organizers reserve the right to cancel the raffle. Yes, tickets may be reserved online in all current markets. Please refer to the full terms and conditions for specific eligibility rules.
The taxes on the home are the responsibility of the winner. The House Grand Prize does include $50,000 intended to help cover taxes. The IRS requires that taxes on prizes valued greater than $5,000 must be paid upon acceptance and before Crystal Coast Habitat for Humanity may deliver the prize to the winner. Winners are encouraged to consult a tax professional.
Your ticket makes you eligible for all the prizes whose deadline hasn't passed. The earlier you buy your ticket, the more prizes you're eligible for.
Yes! All ticket purchasers have an equal chance of winning the house.
Eligibility rules are listed in the full terms and conditions found above. For all giveaways, you must be at least 18 years old as of the date of entry, and a living resident of the United States.
The chances of winning are based on the number of tickets sold. If fewer tickets are sold, the chances of winning improve. All tickets have an equal chance to win the house. Only 6,000 tickets are available for purchase.
If an email address is provided, the ticket purchaser will receive an emailed copy within 3-5 business days that they can print for their records.
No, you do not have to be present to win or have your ticket receipt with you. Winners will be announced by name, not ticket number, during each prize drawing.
We will call you on the day of the giveaway. We will also notify each winner in writing by sending a Winner Notification Agreement (“WNA”) by secure electronic communication or certified U.S. mail, return receipt requested, to the email and/or mailing address provided by the ticket purchaser. Each winner must accept the prize, “as is,” by signing and returning the WNA within ten (10) days of receipt.
The IRS has adopted the position that the $100 ticket price is not deductible as a charitable donation for Federal income tax purposes.
All of the proceeds go directly to Crystal Coast Habitat for Humanity and its vision of creating a world where everyone has a decent place to live.
No, entrants do not need to meet the Habitat homeownership program qualifications to be eligible for the house raffle.
