September 21- Duck Derby
The Annual Crystal Coast Habitat for Humanity Duck Derby is back September 21 from 10 AM- 2PM. The Duck Derby is a fun-filled event where we will dump thousands of rubber ducks into the Common's pond where local firefighters will propel them forward using their water hose in a race to the finish with a grand prize of $1,000!
How it works:
- Participants can "adopt" a duck(s) in person or online. There are several duck packages available starting as low as $5. Each duck is then given a tracking number unique to its owner.
- Attend our Duck Derby Sept. 21 to watch the race live and be sure to stick around for the live band, food trucks, vendors, and photos with Sunny the Habitat Duck.
- The tracking numbers of the winning ducks are used to identify the race winners who will be notified at the event and via social media to claim their cash prizes.

November 7- GUY C. LEE Charity Golf Tournament
Crystal Coast Habitat Annual Golf Tournament began in 1997 with a core group of avid golfing volunteers (Curtis Bare, Alan Leary, Tom Milikin, Tom Steepy, and Al Smith) raising to date $576,600 in funds to further the organization's mission of safe affordable housing for the workforce in the community. Golf is an Eastern NC favorite pastime and what is a better way to give back to our community than playing a round of golf? It’s easy to participate whether you are an individual or would like to register your team of four. Just get out there and play, donate, and make a difference in the lives of our working families.
Team Fee includes Green Fees, Cart, Mulligan, T Buster, Refreshments on Course, Lunch, Chance to win cash for a new car, Closest to Pin trophy, and Award for the Winning Team.

Program Schedule for the Event:
- 12:00 pm Registration check in begins
- 12:30 pm Lunches will be available
- 1:00 pm Shotgun Start as directed by the golf pro, Carl Beamon
