Building Homes, Communities, and Hope

Since 1988, our Habitat for Humanity affiliate has been proudly serving Onslow and Carteret counties, building homes and access ramps to help families achieve stability and independence. With the generous support of volunteers, donors, and partners, we work tirelessly to create safe, affordable living spaces and improve accessibility for those in need. Whether it's providing a new home or making an existing one more accessible, we believe in the power of community and the impact of a simple, safe place to call home. Together, we're changing lives, one home and one ramp at a time.

WHO WE SERVE

Crystal Coast Habitat has an open-door policy. We believe that everyone needs a decent, affordable place to live. All are welcome to help with the work regardless of race, religion, age, gender, or political views.

HOW WE WORK

We work by partnering with working families and individuals to build homes and access ramps. Families in need of affordable housing go through an application process where they demonstrate the ability to pay an affordable, no-interest mortgage.

WHY IT MATTERS

Habitat for Humanity helps address the global affordable housing crisis by providing safe and affordable housing solutions to working families. Our homeownership program helps families build strength, stability, and self-reliance.

Our Leadership

Our leadership team plays a pivotal role in guiding the organization's mission, vision, and strategic direction. Our Executive Director, Tammy Blizzard, works tirelessly to oversee day-to-day operations, ensure fiscal responsibilities are being met, and foster a culture of innovation and collaboration. She works closely with our Board of Directors to establish goals, monitor progress, and ensure the success of our affiliate.
